Most of the cards revealed in NBA 2K23 come with locked stats and abilities, while Evolution cards work in a different way, it allows you to improve specific cards and your lineup. What are Evolution Cards and How to Get Them in NBA 2K23?

In NBA 2K23, the Evolution cards, also known as Evo cards, can be upgraded into better versions of that player. The upgraded card will get better attributes, badges, animations, and hot zones. Each bolt on the side of an Evolution card represents an upgrade level that the card can achieve by completing certain goals to evolve. For example, you can first upgrade a 95 OVR Kevon Looney to a 98 and then evolve it to a 99 OVR. Some evolution levels will allow you to choose between two sets of bonuses. How to get Evolution cards in 2K23? They are available in packs, auction house, and seasonal or event rewards.

How to Evolve Players in 2K23 MyTEAM?

The evolution requirements of each player can be found in the Card Evolution, you can find it on the MyTeam tab of the main menu. The Card Evolution in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM allows players to improve their lineup by upgrading the Evolution cards. In NBA 2K23, players have more freedom to customize their evolution cards, for some of the evo cards, you can choose between two badges that you want to add to the specific card, which results in different play style of the same player, the requirement will be accordingly different as well.
